Sand Washing Machine

Sand washing machine integrate the functions of washing sand, concentrated dehydration of coarse and fine sand, and fine sand recovery, etc., so it is also called sand recovery and dehydration machine or sand washing and separation equipment.

The equipment includes two parts, sand washing part and fine sand recovery part. The sand washing part has the same function as the general wheel sand washing machine, which is used for washing sand, dewatering and desliming.The recovered parts can be assembled according to the customer’s demand, for example, if fine sand recovery is needed, the general fine sand recovery system can be connected or if different sand production effects are needed, multi-layer dewatering screen can also be configured.

Working principle

The sand and water mixture enters into the cleaning tank, the impeller separator cleans and separates the sand, sand and gravel material enters into the lower dewatering screen for dewatering. Wastewater overflow out of the cleaning tank(including a large number of fine sand, mud, dust and other impurities)is pumped to the high pressure separator via high pressure of the vacuum pump. The fine sand after centrifugal grading enrichment is discharged to the upper dewatering screen for dewatering through the grit mouth. The rest of the wastewater, mud, dust and other impurities return the high water tank through high-pressure separator the overflow mouth then discharge.

The finished sand contains 15% water and less than 3% mud. The specification of sand is medium sand.
