Dual Wheel Sand Washing Machine


Dual wheel sand washing and recovery machine, which is designed by LZZG for sand washing industry, stone powder, mountain sand, and other materials with high mud and powder content. The plant connects sand washing machine equipped two wheels with fine sand recovery machine, effectively solving the shortcomings of traditional spiral sand washing machine such as a large amount of fine sand loss, high water consumption, and dirty washing.

The equipment is specially designed for sand washing, grading, and dewatering of sand units. It is used for sand and gravel plants, construction site, glass manufacturing, oil well development, and other industries.


Sand washing wheel, storage tank, pumping tank, backwater device, overflow device, separation and recovery device, dehydration device, reducer, water pump, motor, etc.

Working principle

The preliminary processing of materials enter into the water storage tank, the wheel starts running through motor and reducer. The wheel scoops up material from the water in the water storage tank and through washing grinding wheel mesh water and lower than the size of mesh material will be filtered out. The qualified material is transferred to the second water storage tank, water full accesses to the material when the wheel’s rotating, so it’s easy to take away impurities on the surface of the material to obtain cleaner material. Then the second grinding wheel repeats the same operation like the front wheel, so the material gets cleaned twice.

The cleaned material enters the rear dewatering device, through the vibration of the dewatering device to remove a large amount of water, making the material more convenient for storage and transportation. The missed material in the storage tank enters the pumping tank at the end of the machine through the overflow device, it is pumped by the water pump to the separation and recovery device for concentration recovery, and qualified material after concentration is returned to the dehydration device for dehydration collection. Excess wastewater impurities enter the return tank for discharge.


1. After double washing, the material contains a lower amount of mud or powder. The finished sand has a higher grade.
2. Integrated sand washing, fine sand recovery, concentrated recovery of coarse and fine sand.
3. The supporting cyclone can concentrate and recycle the fine sand lost in sand washing wastewater, effectively reduce the fine sand loss in the sand washing process.
