Tailings Dewatering Screen


Tailings dewatering screen, also known as vibrating dewatering screen, which is suitable for smaller granularity of materials, such as fine sand, tailings, tailings dehydration and drainage equipment.

Unlike the crushers, vibrating screens cannot produce material, they allow crushers to achieve maximum performance by sizing the material feed to the crusher and efficiently removing the finishing product from the circuit as it is produced.

Working principle

Tailings are evenly sent into the feeding inlet of the sieve through feeding box (or cyclone).Remove about 1/3 of the water at a 45 degree angle to the horizontal, then after entering the integration of a sieve plate and the tilt of the sieve plate, there’s an accumulation of material, material particles begin to form a thin filter by gravity settling, but the filter layer prevents the remaining particles through the sieve so the filter layer gradually gets thickening.

Failed to thoroughly and form pool of water in the upper filter because the filter layer is thinner, water gradually under strong motion off gradually, high frequency low amplitude vibration state, make form a filter layer of the tailings particles such as more and more dense, and vibration to the discharging mouth, material forming filter cake shape, the moisture in the material in addition to the part from the screen surface removal, the rest due to capillary action attached to the material surface, due to the screen surface installation, negative Angle from discharging mouth water not overflow, but flow constraints for pool, thus complete the material dehydration.


1.Simple structure, easy installation and maintenance, can work 24 hours continuously.
2. The side plate is connected with the beam, the motor base and the reinforcement plate with torsional shear high-strength bolts, and there is no welding seam, so as to avoid the side plate cracking caused by welding stress.
3. The sieve plate is made of imported polyurethane material with high porosity, good water permeability.
4. Small screen machine adopts rubber spring vibration reduction, noise is small, vibration reduction effect is good, and large screen machine adopts high manganese steel spring, with good elasticity.
